Oxford Counsellor for Young People (18-25), Students and Adults
Welcome
I'm Nicole, a BACP Registered Integrative Humanistic Counsellor in Oxford.
It takes a lot of courage to begin to look into support for yourself, so please, take your time, and know this is a huge achievement.

If you've felt like too much or not enough or inside feel lost about you who really are but hide that beneath a calm exterior - there's a space just for you, that meets you where you are.
Together we can figure out who you are and want to be, give you a safe space to express all your emotions, and learn how to build a healthy relationship with yourself.
When you bring things to session, I won't just sit there in silence with no expression. I'm attentively listening and noticing all those 'little' things (like clenching of fists, changes in breathing). I ask questions and give you space when things feel more difficult to share. I don't force you to talk - you're the guide of our sessions. We'll laugh and joke at times, and we'll talk about normal everyday things to help ground you and keep you safe.

Most importantly, I'm in this with you.

You deserve a space to be you. To be heard. To be validated.

Does this sound familiar?
You feel like you're too much and not good enough

You've always been the mature one and felt older than you actually are

You want to protect and look after those around you so you push down and hide your unpleasant emotions

You have so much love and care for everyone else, but struggle to offer that to yourself

On the outside you appear to hold it together, but deep down you feel lost and unsure about who you really are

You're the one people come to for support and to be seen - but who sees you?
